Raja Subramanya K
Placed in Laing O Rourke, Dubai
Quantity surveying is a part of project management. During the course we had exposure to the quantity surveying in the cost management subject which was elaborate and extended to cover the vast field. I think the knowledge gained from this course helped me secure the role.

Akanksha Rastogi
Placed in Mahindra Lifespace Developers
The placement season began from the pre placement workshops itself. The best part was getting a chance to clear my doubts about my career choices by being able to interact with the experts from FM, Marketing and Finance and also the mock interviews which helped a lot in being pre-prepared for the final interview. The image consultancy classes were a huge benefit as it gave an insight to not just managing the interviews but the professional life also. During the placements, I got a chance to implement all the learnings from the workshops as well as from the last 1.5 years in the classroom. I was competing with the toppers of my batch for an opportunity with Mahindra Lifespaces which was for an interesting profile of innovation specialist. There was only one round of the interview and it went very well, to the point that I was offered the job role of management trainee in Mahindra Lifespaces.

Majety Sai Vivek Dutt
Placed in CBRE
My job role in CBRE is associate in Valuation. In order to perform the valuation process for a building, the most ideal method would be modified cost approach with the returns measured. My QS skills could help me achieve an accurate cost of land acquisition, construction and maintenance. It also helps in calculating the returns on the building such as lease, rentals or sale value. Thus the QS skills I learnt are directly related to the accuracy of my performance in the job. I am confident I will be able to deliver good services to my clients.

Tertius S
Placed in Colliers
Colliers were in search of a right person in Chennai for more than a year. When they saw me working over there (during internship), they felt I would be the right person to handle the things since the Chennai market is not easy to handle by outsiders. The skills and knowledge developed in RICS SBE made them to choose me for Chennai.
