Program Overview

Programme Mission

MBA-Construction Project Management (CPM) program provides advanced knowledge in Construction Project Management, Delivery of management of real estate and infrastructure projects and Professional practice in a construction management context. Program aims to prepare students with knowledge and professional skills relevant to construction project management sector and to develop necessary cognitive, analytical and technical skills as industry ready professionals. It develops overall personality of students by not only providing them techno-managerial education but by also developing their knowledge base and skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.

Project managers play a key role for project delivery right from inception stage till the facility management and redevelopment stage of the projects by optimal utilisation of tools and techniques needed to manage time, cost, quality, safety, risk, sustainability, and human resources.

Industry led MBA CPM program prepares the students to excel as professional advisors on Project management matters by enriching their knowledge in the following domains:

    PEO1 To impart leadership, knowledge of the fundamentals of Project Management and Real Estate theory and its application in problem-solving and decision-making.
     
    PEO2 To instill the necessary skills to select, analyse, and apply appropriate tools and techniques for decision-making required for solving complex managerial problems in construction and real estate projects.
     
    PEO3 To develop sound knowledge of business strategy and entrepreneurship and inculcate creativity and innovation along with applied research in the field of construction and real estate among students.
     
    PEO4  To graduate employable students, having the highest regard for professional ethics, social responsibility, sustainability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
     
    PEO5  To develop the ability for efficient utilization of organization resources, planning, and execution of real estate and infrastructure projects.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
 
PSO1 Utilizing acquired knowledge and skills in a range of construction project management and real estate activities, both directly and indirectly, at both domestic and global levels by actively planning and executing projects. 

  •  PSO2 Develop skills to acquire mastery in various competencies related to Construction and Real Estate sector such as, inspection, due diligence, design, experimentation, BIM, Lean Practices, Project Management, Health and Safety, measurement of land and property, analysing development feasibility, valuation, property portfolio management and market analysis. 
  •  PSO3 Application of economic principles as they apply to real estate, land and property laws, environment laws, planning, construction technology, valuation methods, property development process, property management, investment and finance related to real estate and construction sector. 
  •  PSO4 Application of principles of urban development, accounting, corporate law, marketing, and finance as appropriate to real estate and construction business.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation (min 50%) and MAT- 500, CAT/XAT - 75 percentile, NMAT 200 percentile, GMAT - 500 Or Amity Written Test. Preference will be given to engineers and architect
