Research Philosophy

  • RICS School of Built Environment is an industry-led institution with a mission statement to “Exhibit excellence in research and teaching”.

  • Research and research lead teaching and learning is at the core of our teaching pedagogy.
  • Faculty has presented papers at various international conferences and published book chapters and papers in international journals (Scopus and ABDC A/B). Their cases are listed in top case study repositories in India like IIMA Case Center and internationally like with HBR Cases. They have been awarded international research grants by the Investment Property Forum (IPF), Property Research Trust (PRT) (previously RICS Research Trust), and the Australia-India Council (AIC) Grants.

  • Students work on various research-led assignments and at the end of their academic journey undergo capstone projects. In the past, students under the keen mentorship of faculty have published papers in conference proceedings and journals.

  • The research led teaching and learning is one of the cornerstones for learning and knowledge gathering at RICS SBE.
