Bridging Theory with Practice | Experiential Learning at RICS School of Built Environment

The BBA 4th Semester students (Real Estate & Urban Infrastructure) at RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University Noida recently participated in an internal site visit at the Amity Campus as part of the course Basics of Facilities Management.

The visit featured a structured technical walkthrough led by an Electrical Services Expert, covering:

▪️ Campus Substation Operations
▪️ Solar PV Installations
▪️ Key Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Protocols

This immersive session provided students with valuable exposure to electrical infrastructure management, energy systems, and the operational mechanisms that ensure uninterrupted campus functionality.

By connecting classroom concepts with real-world applications, the visit strengthened students’ understanding of how facilities management principles are implemented in live environments. The active engagement and insightful discussions reflected the importance of experiential learning in shaping industry-ready professionals.

At RICS SBE, we remain committed to integrating academic rigor with practical exposure to prepare future leaders in Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure.
